Thinking about life, aging, disease and death

At the Kokyoji temple, there was a talk by Dr. Minami, who has been working in the local community for many years, entitled “Towards a society where people can live, age, disease and die happily”.

We were able to participate remotely even though we were far away. In Buddhism, we believe that nothing we experience is in vain and that everything we do is an irreplaceable life. If this is so, then life, death, aging, and disease are all necessary parts of our experience, according to Dr. Minami.

During the meeting, we were told about the tea of Yunnan, and it was a gentle and peaceful afternoon, in which people’s hearts were connected, even if they were far away from each other.
